Heart of Georgia Animal Care is looking for an Associate Veterinarian at a high volume, mixed animal, two doctor practice located in Milledgeville, Ga. Our clinic is predominately small animal with a moderate amount of small ruminant, equine and exotics seen. We practice in a spacious 7,300 square foot facility with 3 exam rooms, a large surgery suite with 3 surgery tables, an extra-large treatment space with ICU, and a dental area with MIDMARK Vet Pro 1000. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, endoscopy, tonometry, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and electrocardiography. Two laboratory stations are available for performing CBC, chemistry, blood gas, electrolyte profiles, and urinalysis. Also available is a cold laser therapy unit. We are a paperless practice, and you will find multiple computer terminals in our work areas.
Heart of Georgia is proud of our large group of support staff that consists of specifically designated exam room, ICU, and surgery technicians. We have a large client base and our clinic is growing! We provide emergency services for current clients only.
Milledgeville is 30 miles northeast of Macon, and is Georgia’s Antebellum Capital. The downtown area is made up of broad streets and public squares, which are filled with places to eat, shop and visit. The town hosts multiple festivals, parades, and cultural events. Baldwin County is in the heart of “Georgia’s Lake Country” on beautiful Lake Sinclair where one can live and play on the water.
