Our busy small animal hospital is looking for a practice- manager! Butte Oroville Veterinary Hospital was established in the 1960’s and has provided quality medicine and care to our patients in the local and surrounding communities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a management role. Job requirements are:
Familiar with inventory matters
Experience in, or an aptitude for, reception responsibilities
Self-directed, motivated, and organized
Experience in employee recruitment/onboarding and discipline/termination
Provide and receive constructive feedback from others
Mentor, support, and advocate for all team members (Doctors to kennel attendants)
Highly confidential and trustworthy
Proficient in financial matters
We currently have three practicing doctors and are looking to expand as we continue our growth. We are a team that enjoys working together to find solutions have a dedicated and hardworking staff. Butte Oroville Veterinary Hospital is open seven days a week and is equipped with a new ultrasound, digital radiology, and laser treatment. Our hospital strives to practice excellent medicine in a friendly team environment.

The city of Oroville is in Butte County in the Sierra Nevada Foothills within the Northern Sacramento Valley. Our city is considered the gateway to Lake Oroville and Feather River recreational areas. Lake Oroville offers many sporting activities throughout the year, such as skiing, sailing, swimming, fishing, camping and picnicking. Feather River Parkway offers a five-mile loop which overlooks the Feather River and is popular with walkers, joggers, and bicyclists.
