Veterinary Hospital in Downtown Chicago seeks experienced Hospital Manager.
The hospital manager’s role is to maximize the productivity, profitability and growth of the practice. Applicants should have both veterinary business experience and enthusiasm for providing high levels of customer service.
Job Description Overview:
Oversee client care and ensure client loyalty by demonstrating and training exceptional client service
Operational oversight of our hospital, including leadership team of technicians, and receptionists
Financial oversight and business development of the practice including managing budget and key performance indicators
Overall responsibility for all personnel functions including recruiting, training/development, issue resolution and oversight of the performance reviews for all staff
Involvement in all marketing and community outreach functions
Oversight of facility, inventory and equipment maintenance
Desired Skills & Experience
Strong client service philosophy and experience in customer service, preferably in a front desk/receptionist role
2 years or more managing people and business operations in the veterinary field
Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to get things done in a timely and efficient manner
Grasp of and daily management of revenues, inventory and payroll
