Animal Medical Center of Frederick County is proud to be seeking a full or part-time veterinarian to join our team. This 6 doctor practice has continued to grow due to its reputation for patient care, compassion, progressive medicine and advanced surgical care. We are located in the heart of the northern Shenandoah Valley where we are minutes away from Shenandoah National Park or a short drive to Washington D.C. Our facility is privately-owned and boasts a renovated, stand-alone hospital that caters to our clients and patients. We have 8 exam rooms, as well as separate digital radiography and ultrasound rooms. There are treatment areas for both exam room patients as well as surgical and hospitalized patients. We have two surgical suites: one for soft tissue surgery and the other for orthopedic surgery. We require digital radiography for all dental procedures performed. We offer in-house blood work (CBC,CHEM, T4, 4DX, PT/PTT), ultrasound, endoscopy/rhinoscopy, advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures (TPLO, fracture repair), CO2 laser. We offer cold laser therapy and have doctors that perform acupuncture and alternative medicine. Our team of veterinarians collaborate to provide the best care for our patients and our enthusiastic support staff is second to none! New graduates are encouraged to apply.
