Southern Alliance Spay Neuter Clinic is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to lower the euthanasia of healthy companion animals through the prevention of unwanted litters by offering affordable spay neuter surgery to those pet owners who can't afford a full service veterinarian clinic. Since opening in May 2013 the clinic has performed more than 16,000 surgeries (averaging over 2,500 per year), including more than 5,000 dogs and cats housed with the local animal shelter. More than half of our clients are low income families who have benefited from reduced fees (and in some cases free surgery) for their pets. In addition to the 33,000 residents of Lincoln County, SASNC serves the surrounding counties of Franklin, Marion, Moore, Lawrence, Maury and Giles, as well as northern Alabama.
