Be the one who lives and works where others vacation! Colorado Springs is home to Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty, a well-established and respected emergency hospital that also offers referral services in surgery, rehabilitation, neurology, internal medicine, cardiology and radiology (CT/MRI). Our ER service is the heart of our practice and is completely integrated with our specialty departments. That’s because we are ONE - One team. One purpose. One patient at a time. Other important ‘ones’ include: •One ownership model. We all work for one hospital and our patients belong to all of us. •One call, text or email is all it takes to be introduced to real people who care – for their co-workers, their community, and love caring for animals in such a beautiful place. •One life to live. We believe that we must surround ourselves by people and places that enrich our lives and bring out the best in us. Colorado Springs and Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty do both. Colorado Springs is home to Pikes Peak at 14,297 feet in elevation, Garden of the Gods, US Olympic Training Center, Space Foundation Headquarters and Discovery Center, US Air Force Academy, and so many more special places making it a spectacular place to call home – not just vacation. For outdoor enthusiasts, we are only a quick two hour drive away from world renowned Breckenridge Ski Resort and close proximity to other world famous ski resorts. There are over 100 miles of hiking, running, and biking trails right in our backyard. US News has recently ranked Colorado Springs as the #1 “Most Desired Places To Live.” Our view of Pikes Peak is breathtaking! A short hour drive to Denver allows easy access to "big city life". Our scheduling is based on balance of life and work. This would be a full time position with a base salary and a very competitive monthly percentage bonus without negative calculations. Our ER doctors do, on occasion, rotate through our satellite urgent care clinics within the Colorado Springs area (Monument and Old Colorado City). We will consider a signing bonus and/or moving expense assistance for the right candidate. If you have interest in working and living in one of the best places in the country, then please respond to this ad with your CV and a cover letter. For direct contact, please contact Dr. Jennifer Price: phone 719-314-8974 (cell); 719-473-0482 (work). Thank you for your interest.
