Our clinic has been open 1 1/2 years now and we are doing very well and growing fast. We value client education, exceptional customer service and high quality medicine. We are a hybrid clinic that is partnered with a non-for profit humane society. We care for all the animals in our partnering humane society as well as see community client owned pets.
We are looking for an associate veterinarian to work 2 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month. The ideal candidate will be confident in surgery as we commonly perform 5 - 10 surgeries per day and this will be majority of the new associate's role. Most days the associate will work alongside the owner/veterinarian but sometimes will work solo so must be comfortable working alone. We are open to a mentorship for a new grad. Any experience level considered. This position has potential to become full time for the right candidate.
We are fast paced and very busy and we would like a doctor who enjoys getting down on the pets' level and getting to know the pet and the owner thoroughly. We do not wear white coats here. It is scrubs or professional attire.
We perform A LOT of surgery. Mostly spays, neuters and dental procedures but also gastrotomies, enterotomies and all other soft tissue surgeries except orthopedic procedures, which we refer. We have a brand new dental machine with high and low speed handpieces and suction, scaler and water. We have in house blood machines and digital X-ray. We have full anesthesia monitoring for all patients: indirect BP, pulse ox, EKG, capnograph.
We are a paperless/green clinic also. We have very qualified and confident technicians who can run just about any test you would want and take care of any needs a doctor may have. We are a happy conflict free and drama free work place and we listen to music and laugh and have a good time while getting our job done. We are looking for an associate who will fit in well with our team and be a team player.
We also see pocket pets such as ferrets, rabbits and hamsters. We do not see large animal or exotics. But if an associate has an interest in exotics we can discuss that possibility.
