Animal ER of University Park is seeking an Emergency DVM to add to it's growing team! We are interested in speaking with new grads or GP DVMs looking to make a transition to ER (Mentorship provided), internship trained, or experienced ER DVMs. Surgery experience/interest preferred. 

The Animal ER of University Park, L.L.C. is staffed by veterinarians and licensed or highly experienced veterinary technicians, along with veterinary assistants who are physically present during all operating hours. 

The Animal ER is a well-equipped facility with diagnostic, surgical and life-saving equipment.  The state of the art hospital includes a modern surgical suite, IDEXX Lab machines (CBC/Chem/Lytes/Coag/Blood Gas/Sedi-Vue Dx, ACTH Stim Testing in-house along with Bile Acids), Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Electrosurgery, and Endoscopy.  In addition, we can monitor the SPO2, EKG, and have 2 different Blood Pressure monitoring modalities (Doppler and PetMap).  In addition, we have access to Boarded Neurologist, Surgeons, and Internal Medicine. 

The Animal ER of University Park was created because the people of north Sarasota county and the entirety of Manatee county where having to travel too far for veterinary emergency care. 

The founders of the Animal ER recognized this need, and in November of 2003 opened the Animal ER to serve the people and pets of Manatee and Sarasota counties.  Since that time, we have been open every night, weekend, and holiday.
