Walk-In Veterinary Care is a new Hospital in Apollo Beach. We have been serving Apollo Beach for the last year. We are fast paced and fast growing clinic. We are searching for 1-2 experienced certified technician or technician with 2 years’ experience to help our team grow and succeed. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills. Candidate must be able to multi-task in a teaming environment. The ability to stand for long hours and some heavy lifting is a requirement. Experience in customer service and caring for animals is a must. At least two year of veterinary technician experience or veterinary technician certification is required. Experience with exotics and birds is a plus.

ability to triage patients and collect history from owners
proficiency in venipuncture for blood sample collection and IV catheter placement
perform in house lab work
care for hospitalized patients
administer injections and medications and perform treatments prescribed by the veterinarian
keep accurate medical records
prepare animals for surgery and monitor anesthesia
