Kingman Animal Hospital is seeking 1 full time/part time veterinarian for our AAHA Accredited small animal/ (some) mixed animal practice. We are a fast paced full service hospital caring for pets in the Kingman and surrounding areas.

Good communication skills and great work ethic are a must for our family friendly practice. Clients and their pets are our number one priority, so we do our best to provide a modern hospital with experienced staff to meet their needs.

At KAH we offer our clients:

• General and orthopedic surgery as well as advanced dentistry
• Nutritional and behavioral counseling
• Fear Free Certified staff
• Emergency care 
• Digital radiology and DDR, In house Idexx lab, US, SmartFlow electronic whiteboards and Ezyvet paperless technology for efficiency  
• Basic wellness care as well as hospitalized intensive care
• And an awesome staff that the community loves and appreciates!

We are also very involved in our community offering help and volunteer work for our 4H and FFA kids, the local animal shelter and other community events such as parades, rodeos and school educational presentations. We are involved with the Sheriff K9 Unit as well as the Arizona Game and Fish helping to rehab all of Mohave County’s raptors and wildlife and Keepers of the Wild animal park/sanctuary where zoo animal medicine come into play.

We offer a compensation package including:

• Competitive salary based on experience level and schedule
• Relocation pay up to $15,000 
• PLIT and License Defense paid
• State license, USDA and DEA fees paid

• On Call Weekend rotation shared every 6 weeks (additional pay with on call)

Kingman is a small town (population ~30,000) located at the heart of ROUTE 66. We are close to many outdoor opportunities including boating, fishing, hiking, biking, skiing, hunting and river rafting etc.

We are located 30-45 miles from the Colorado River and Lake Havasu (boating and fishing!) We are close to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon (winter skiing, hunting and hiking), Sedona (hiking) and Laughlin (gambling) and 3 hours from Phoenix (Diamond Backs and Cardinals games!) and 1 hour from the world famous LAS VEGAS Nevada (shopping).
