We are seeking a full time, experienced ExoticÂ Associate Veterinarian to join our team.Â The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 yearsâ™ experience in hospital or 1 year hospital experience and 1 year internship.
For more than 60 years, we have been caring for pets in the San Diego North County area. Our 13,000 square foot, state of the art hospital and pet resort is beautiful and inviting, with a diverse and stimulating caseload.Â We are a Fear Free practice with many technicians and doctors certified Fear Free.Â We also have several Avian Fear Free employees.Â Our team consists of 27 staff members plus 5 doctors, including 7 RVT'sÂ and 7 assistants.Â Â Our 6 exam room nurses, including 2 RVTâ™s, who are assigned to a specific doctor on a daily basis and act as the doctorâ™s sole room assistant throughout the day, along with 7 assistants, 5 receptionists, boarding and doggie day care staff.Â Several of our doctors and our hospital manager have been at Acacia for over 20 years.
