| General practice veterinarian needed for one of the satellites of a privately owned, busy 7-hospital group with a 12,000 sq. ft. central hospital providing 24-hour hospitalization and emergency services. These AAHA accredited small animal hospitals are located in the Northern Macomb area of Michigan. Facilities are award winning, receiving two Veterinary Economics awards for architecture and are fully equipped. The technical and veterinary staff is experienced and dedicated with a board certified owner (ABVP) and several internship trained veterinarians. The opening is for a general practitioner at Yale Veterinary Hospital, located in Michigan's thumb. Duties include routine outpatient appointments and surgical procedures. We emphasize client education, preventative medicine and quality care in a team oriented atmosphere. Long term, dedicated support staff of veterinary technicians, assistants and receptionists, allowing you to fully focus on the "doctor stuff". All after hours emergencies are directed to the 24 hour, fully equipped main office, so your time off is all yours! Special interests are strongly supported and appropriate CE and/ or equipment will be provided. Position requires 40 hours per week and offers very flexible scheduling.
