At Lake Olympia Animal Hospital, we are quite proud of our extensive history. Terry Dobson, DVM and Michael Jacob, DVM initially established Lake Olympia Animal Hospital in 1985. The purpose of the hospital was exemplary service to the pets of Missouri City’s citizens. Dr. Dobson and Dr. Jacob cared for the pets and horses of Quail Valley, rural Missouri City and Fort Bend County, and a much smaller version of the Lake Olympia community.
Thanks to the citizens of Missouri City and the Sugar Land area, our practice has grown and expanded to help care for the growing number of clients and patients. Our current location was built with customer service and patient care in mind, allowing us to offer extraordinary service, commitment, and compassion to our clients and their pet family members.
We offer wellness and preventative care, surgery, dental care, internal medicine, hospitalization/critical care and rehabilitation services. Digital radiography, (including dental radiology) ultrasonography and a fully equipped in house lab, to take care of the most challenging of cases.
Our team of eight veterinarians include certifications in Feline Medicine, Rehabilitation and Acupuncture. We are a Gold Standard Cat Friendly Practice, and we treat pocket pets, reptiles and birds. The veterinary team combine their talents and knowledge to collaborate on cases, and along with an incredible support staff, work together to deliver outstanding patient care and personalized service to our clients. Our doctors and team truly enjoy the bond we share with our clients. The ideal veterinary team member would be interested in forming and nurturing the long-term relationships we have with our clients and their pet families.
